I’m pleased to make public the cover of the forthcoming ForrestWorks CD, “Arise, Shine!” Photography and design by J4Studios, my favorite graphic designer! CD is being sent off to duplication, and hopefully should be available in a couple weeks!
Audio and art work are all completed for the Arise, Shine! CD. Artwork has been sent to printer, and we’re waiting on proofs. CD masters will be shipped out soon. Hoping for a quick turnaround!
I plan to post the CD cover here soon, and to re-vamp my front page pretty extensively when the CD is actually available- which will hopefully be only 2-3 weeks now!
For those of you asking about the Arise, Shine! CD- it got delayed a bit on both the artwork and the audio mastering, but I hope to get it off for duplication this coming week! I can’t wait to get it done- it’ll be my first full-length (75+ minutes!) recording of my own pieces. The danforrest.com site should undergo a fairly significant front-page change once the CD is available, as well… Looking forward to it!

I went through and updated most of my site pages tonight (I had gotten behind, a bit); so take a browse through the tabs if you want some updated information. As is usually the case, I have a few things in the works that aren’t official yet, so they’re not public. I’ll post about them when they’re official.
Second- the Arise Shine CD is getting close, on the audio and artwork sides! I look forward to having it in hand, finally, after waiting a couple years to get it put together! It should be available through this website, through me directly if you’re in Greenville, from Hinshaw Music (which publishes all of the music on the recording), or (hopefully) through iTunes and Amazon, as well…
