New piece accepted…

I got word today that my arrangement of Nearer, Still Nearer (SATB with piano and oboe) that I wrote at the end of Christmas break, was accepted at Beckenhorst. It’ll be coming out in their spring release. We’re very thankful!

A Basque Lullaby- transcription for wind band. To be premiered by the BJU Symphonic Wind Band this spring…

Arise, Shine!- 5-7 minute piece for chorus and orchestra, to be premiered in Carnegie Hall in Feb 2007

Doctoral Dissertation: approximately 30 minutes of music for chorus, orchestra, and soloists, probably on a sacred text… feel free to email me text ideas! :-)

(West Valley Commission)- a 13-15 minute set of pieces for chorus and 4 percussionists, commissioned by the West Valley Chorale in Phoenix, Arizona. Will be premiered in spring 2007.

 


Congratulations to Addy!

Congratulations to my dear wife, whose children’s Christmas program, Tell Me The Story Of Jesus, has been accepted for publication at Soundforth (www.soundforth.com). Her program will be available later this year, for use this Christmas.

Selah (from Words From Paradise) is now available from Hinshaw Music (www.hinshawmusic.com). The rest of Words From Paradise will be available next spring, along with A Basque Lullaby.

Nearer, Still Nearer (SATB with piano and oboe) will be available from Beckenhorst this spring.
Abide In Me (SATB with piano and violin) will be available from Exaltation (Lorenz) this spring.

Thy Word Is Like A Garden, Lord (SATB with piano) will be published by Hal Leonard, Fall 2007.
