I often never hear about performances (it’s the nature of publishing)- but I try to list what I hear about, here. If you have an upcoming performance of any ForrestWorks, please contact me, and I’ll be glad to post the info.
NEWEST LISTINGS ARE IN BOLD.
- October 23: Premiere of “St. Patrick’s Hymn” by the Greenville Chorale and Greenville Symphony brass, winds, and percussion, at the Peace Center in downtown Greenville, SC. I’ll be attending.
- November 13: Concert of mostly Forrest music by the Friends University Singing Quakers Alumni Choir, Dr. Cecil Riney conducting, at the Eastminister Presbyterian Church, Wichita, KS. I’ll be attending.
- November 17-19: performance of in paradisum with orchestra, by Columbus, IN Philharmonic and their Chorus, David Bowden conducting. I’ll be attending.
- December: Premiere of Christmas version of A Basque Lullaby (title TBA), with text by Charles Anthony Silvestri, at Christmas At The Cathedral in Sioux City, SD. More information about date, time, and regionally syndicated broadcast, TBA.
- Feb 2011 TMEA premiere by Cy Woods High School Choir. I may be attending?
- March 2011: ACDA in Chicago: I’ll be attending.
- Premiere of commissioned piece for National ACDA Children’s Honors Choir, Henry Leck conducting.
- Performance of Venite, Adoremus by First Methodist of Houston (Mike Ware conducting).
- March 28….TBA?
- May 16: Performance of Te Deum by the Texas Master Chorale and members of the Houston Symphony, in Houston, TX.
- May 21-22, 2011: Premiere of commissioned piece by Williamsburg VA Choral Guild. I’ll be attending.
- Fall 2011: Premiere of commissioned piece by University of Utah at the World Choral Symposium in Argentina. More details to come.
